At Trehel, we view our team members’ safety, building partners, and clients as a non-negotiable element of our building process. On January 29, 2021, we achieved a historic safety milestone by reaching 3,000 days without a lost time injury! During the past few years, we have made several critical advancements to our safety program. In 2017, we established our Safety Leadership Committee to enhance our overall safety culture and rebranded our safety program to CARE4All. As of 2018, we require OSHA 10 training for our skilled field staff members and OSHA 30 training for all management-level team members. And in 2019, Adam Owens was promoted to Director of Safety and Field Operations, to name a few select highlights.
In 2020, Trehel was recognized for our outstanding safety culture and program by the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation (SCDLLR) by being awarded the Gleaming Star 2020 Safety Award for the third consecutive year.
“The motivation and foundation of our safety program are based on our mission of caring for people,” said Adam Owens, Director of Safety and Field Operations. “To reach 3,000 days without a lost time injury is a testament to the dedication and commitment of both our team members and our building partners.”
We celebrate and recognize the vital contributions of our Trehel team members towards achieving this significant milestone. Through their concerted efforts, we continue to advance our safety culture.
